Megan and Chris

After meeting Megan through a mutual friend a couple of years ago, we were so happy when she e-mailed us wondering if we were available on her wedding day…

The weather looked good for the first part of the week leading up to the wedding, but as we got closer, the chance of rain grew. All afternoon on the wedding day, the sky threatened to put a damper on the event, giving way to an occasional sprinkle. Under grey skies, the ceremony went on outside, while the rain held off. As we all headed indoors for the reception, the real downpour started. If it had to rain, it was perfect timing.

The wedding took place at the gorgeous Frederik Meijer Gardens and Sculpture Park in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with help from coordinator extraordinaire Chaparral Shimko.

We just adore Megan and Chris and wish them nothing but the very best as a married couple.
