Jana and Josh’s Wedding Photography
Tears of joy trickled down her face as she read her vows to her husband-to-be, and he leaned forward and gently wiped them away, before taking her hands in his and looking into her eyes as she finished…. It was such a quiet and sweet moment, but one that said so much about the love, happiness, and respect between the Jana and Josh.
They chose their wedding date because historically it hadn’t rained on April 16 for the past 10 years. Their faith in history paid off, as the day turned out to be a perfect southern California day, warmer than it had been in many months. The weather that evening was even more comfortable, keeping most of the guests at the outdoor reception to celebrate and to dance late into the night. With such a perfect start to the next part of their lives together, we’re sure there are great things to come for these two (not that we had any doubts)!
We’ve gotten to know Jana and Josh over the past few months, and just love them. Most of the couples we photograph are very happy to be married, but Jana and Josh were ecstatic. They were clearly so happy to have found one another, which made everyone around them (us included) so happy. We loved capturing this sincere warmth and excitement that was apparent throughout the entire wedding day, from the eager anticipation and inquiries about each other in the morning, to how tenderly they laughed with, cried with, and supported one another during the rest of the day.
They got married and celebrated at two gorgeous private residences in Yorba Linda and Anaheim Hills in Orange County, one on a hilltop overlooking the city below, while another under a night sky, and a beautiful hanging crystal chandelier over the outdoor dance floor….
We must also mention that Lacey Brickley and Heather Doddridge of An Unforgettable Day did a beautiful job coordinating the event, and it was captured so well in cinematic video by Jason Garner of Crescent Bay Films. They were all so easy to work with!
